Welcome to my workshop

Having a deep-rooted lifelong love of all things cycling, having raced, ridden the daily commute, and generally messed about having fun on bikes in East and West Sussex and abroad  all my life. Since 2015 I am happily fully qualified to work on all bikes safely and with care. Yours and mine.

I had been servicing and repairing my own bikes for over 35 years.

Having been given the opportunity to finally work for myself doing something I love, the 'Bike Repair Box' in Ringmer near Lewes was born. Now into its 9th year and still helping my local community keep those wheels rolling. I'm loving it.

Set up in my own workshop and with a mobile 'Pick up & Drop Off' service based in Ringmer just outside Lewes in East Sussex. With the right tools, which are an essential part of any good workshop allowing for precise and safe working on your bikes I am always able to provide a unique service in the Sussex area.

I love my bikes and I will treat yours as one of my own.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Having attained my City & Guilds Level 2/ Wheel Building and Accreditation with Merit at The Bike Inn Training centre. Equivalent to the New Cytech Level II Qualifications now being used in the trade. Keeping up to date with the latest Tech via Shimano's T.E.C e-learning portal for the trade I can keep you and your family safe with my service and repair options. From puncture repairs to full Frame Builds.

I'm based in Ringmer near Lewes on the No.2 Sustran's Cycle route just around the corner from Ringmer's excellent Cafe's.

I can provide a free mobile 'Pickup and Drop Off' service within 5 miles (small mileage charge beyond that).

You can Drop into my workshop if I'm in, for minor repairs, a safety check or a chat about your bike. Why not pop into on of Ringmer's Cafe's for a coffee break while you wait. I'll call you when your bike is ready.

Bikes matter. Look after them and they will look after you.

When booking your bike in I will make sure we both understand what work is required and any parts that may be needed.
